Empower. Elevate. Together.

We are a trusted sisterhood
of Afghan Americans committed
to empower each other to learn
and grow together.

It’s true.
Communities
that work together thrive together.

FABA (For Afghans by Afghans) is a group of young Afghan girls and women from high school through to working-age professionals. We believe in the power of community, where everyone - whether new to the country or raised in America with Afghan heritage - has something to offer and receive.

We understand that adjusting to life in America as a new immigrant can be challenging, especially when it follows a history of hardship. Even those who seem well-adjusted can draw strength and confidence knowing they are part
of a supportive network committed to each other’s growth.

Whether you’re learning a new language, navigating the academic system, exploring career paths, or simply trying to find your place, we’re here to help you thrive. We are excited to find growth and personal fulfillment together.
